THEYDON BOIS: Motocross meeting cancelled

THE motocross meeting scheduled to be held at the Blunts Farm golf course site, in Theydon Bois, on Sunday, has been cancelled.

Villagers were concerned over the event which was set to be staged by the East Kent Schoolboy Scramble Club.

A notice on the club’s website from chairman Gary Lane confirmed that the event will not be taking place after all.

The message reads: "Due to matters beyond our control it is with regret that we had to move this week’s venue from Blunts Farm to Riverside MX. The club would like to say thank you to the residents of Theydon Bois and the council for some of their positive feedback and comments."
