JUNIOR KARATE

YOUNG Natasha De Bono (pictured) added to her growing collection of medals following a fine performance at the English Karate Federation's Northern Regionals in Sheffield.

The North London Shotokan club member – who has been sidelined since May – competed in the 16-17 year old female under-48kg kumite.

And, after a hard-fought final, she took a silver medal, making the 350-mile round trip well worth the effort.
