POLICE are making enquiries about a brick attack on a churchgoer, despite earlier claims they had closed the file on the incident.
A 41-year-old woman cowered in her car as yobs pelted her with bricks and stones as she tried to drive through the Priory Court estate in Walthamstow.
The motorist was left shaken and keeps having flashbacks to the October 4 incident but was fortunate to escape serious harm.
She said she was told by Scotland Yard that the police had deemed the attack a “non-priority” and would not be investigated further.
But a Waltham Forest police spokeswoman said police are making enquiries about the attack which happened at about 6.50pm.
Anybody with information about the attack should call police on 8721 2643 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
