East London Runners recorded some impressive results to continue their good form on the road.

Patrick Brown was again victorious in the Wanstead 5km flats notching a time of 18.19, the result follows his victory in the same event last time out.

There were course personal best times for Andrew Baxter and Gavin Stebbing who recorded 19.14 and 19.59 respectively to finish third and seventh. Alex Haward clocked 20.03 to finish eighth on debut.

Other notable performances included Mark Wyatt (11th), Emmet Fitzgibbon (18th), Lee Wollaston (20th), David Irwin (23rd) and Emiko Priest (37th).

In the West Ham Park 5km series Thomas Grimes ran a time of 17.57 which was good enough to take second place while Dan Spinks posted 21.43 to finish fourth. Mohammed Aklaqul Ambea came twelfth in 28.07.

Shelia Kennedy braved the conditions to run 54.47 in the Billericay 10km. In a race affected by the pouring rain Sheila managed to record a best time to date in the fourth consecutive year of running the event.

The Valentines Park 5km series saw Derek Wright come in 16th out of 135 runners with a time of 21.53.
