Leyton Orient goalkeeper Ryan Allsop is expected to leave the club this month after turning down several contract offers.

The talented shot stopper’s six-month deal expires on January 16 and he has been linked with moves to Bournemouth and Bristol City.

Allsop was dropped for the weekend win over Walsall, with Jamie Jones taking his place, and O’s boss Russell Slade has questioned the 20-year-old’s commitment to the club.

Speaking after Saturday’s game, Slade said: “He has been excellent. We’ve offered him a couple of deals and he’s turned them down. Then we came up with exactly what he wanted and we’ve still not got a response from him.

“We’ve not got that commitment. It’s that commitment that I want. People have got to want to play for Leyton Orient and we’ve come up with what he wanted and he's turned it down.

“Whether he’s looking elsewhere you'd have to ask him to be honest but I need commitment from anybody who puts a red shirt on.”

The former West Bromwich Albion youngster has impressed this season and has started the majority of Orient’s matches since joining the club in the summer.

Jones recently returned to fitness after a shoulder injury and Allsop has been left on the bench for the last two games.
