FC Leytonstone remain top of the South Essex Sunday League after coming back from 3-1 down to secure a 3-3 draw against AC Manor Park.

The Lemons were recently knocked out of the Artec Cup by the same opponents and so were keen to avenge the defeat.

But things got off to a bad start when Manor Park took the lead after 17 minutes after Samir Hyder tapped in at the far post.

The lead didn't last long however as Zulqinain Khan was fouled in the box and Sergio Garcia stepped up to convert from the penalty spot.

Manor Park has been the better team in the first period and they made their dominance count early in the second half as first Tahir Qureshi and then Lewis Francis both hit the net to establish a 3-1 lead.

Leytonstone rallied though and were given hope when Obi Ekocho latched on to a low Zulqi Khan cross to pull a goal back.

With ten minutes left Leytonstone continued to pile on the pressure and eventually they were rewarded.

Bradley Williams' fizzing free-kick forced the keeper to fumble and Dawid Opuku was on hand to apply the finish and salvage a draw.
