Academy boxer to fight for England
East London Boxing Academy’s Roman Haidari will be boxing for England in the schoolboy boxing Three Nations championships against Scotland and Wales this weekend.
Haidari won five fights to regain his ABA English title and qualify for this tournament.
He said: “I want to win and add an international championship gold to my collection.
“I have worked hard leading up to the Three Nations and I can’t wait to represent my country again and am looking forward to visiting Scotland.”
