Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas has rubbished suggestions he will be moving to Real Madrid in the summer.

Villas-Boas has guided Spurs to the brink of Champions League football next season and bookmakers have made him the favourite to replace Jose Mourinho at the Bernabeu should he leave.

But despite the speculation linking him with one of the biggest clubs in the world, Villas-Boas says he is committed to seeing out his three-year contract at White Hart Lane.

He told the Daily Telegraph: “The speculation about Real Madrid comes from the coach having speculation all over the world about his exit – Real Madrid are looking for a coach.

“The fact he made it public that he is looking for an exit has ended up with a lot of speculation.

“For me it is always an honour but I am completely focused.

"At the moment I am very, very focused on trying to get another year at one club. The same club.”
