Chingford suffer Pegasus defeat

Chingford Fourths remain at the wrong end of the Premier Division table after their defeat to Pegasus & Corringham Thirds.
Pegasus won the toss and decided to bowl but a fine innings from Scott Prestedge (99) and Howard Nicholson (46) helped Chingford to a total of 209 for five.
Pegasus replied with Bradley Glover (62) and Steven Aylieff (32) helping them to 211 for six to win by four wickets.
Woodford Green Thirds remain close to the relegation places after they suffered a seven-wicket defeat to Stanford Le Hope Thirds.
Stanford Le Hope won the toss and decided to bowl and it proved the correct decision as their opponents struggled to a total of 98 all out.
Shyam Jobanputra (24) and Greg Bosner (24) were the main scorers as Stanford’s Jack Carter claimed four for 22.
In reply, Stanford Le Hope reached the target thanks to Robert Pearn (29) and Neil Fuller (20). Matt Trim claimed two of the three wickets to fall at a cost of 21 runs.
Bottom-of-the-table Epping Thirds went down by three wickets to Horndon on the Hill Thirds in Division One.
Horndon won the toss and decided to bowl.
Epping struggled to a total of 86 all out, with Graham Preston (17) and Daniel Webster (21) their main scorers as Horndon’s Richard Jasper claimed four for 18.
In their reply, Horndon reached the target with seven wickets down thanks to Paul Challis (18) and Aiden Mason (17).
Despite defeat, Epping’s Jack Archer managed to take three for 17.
Old Parkonians Thirds suffered a ten-wicket thumping at the hands of Buckhurst Hill Fourths.
Buckhurst won the toss and put Old Parkonians into bat and Santron Divaharan (38) and Andrew Beaven (22) were the top scorers as they posted a total of 120 all out after Nadeem Yusuf had bowled superbly to take six for 41.
In their reply, Buckhurst Hill reached the total inside 20 overs without the loss of a single wicket as Naomal Wijesooriya (74 not out) and Ashley Brand (40 not out) remained undefeated.
Division Three leaders Loughton Fifths drew with Harold Wood Fifths.
Loughton won the toss and decided to bat and Neal Jani (33) and Jeevan Jani (20) helped them to 190 all out after Samuel McFadyen had taken four for 22.
In reply, 50 from Kevin Ashlin helped Harold Wood to a total of 150 for five as the match ended as a draw.
Samuel Siequien took two wickets for 25 runs for Loughton.
Old Parkonians Fourths saw off Old Southendian and Southchurch Fifths.
Having won the toss, Old Parkonians decided to bowl. Josh Howe (25), along with Jordan Catherall (12), helped Southendian to post a total of 104 all out.
In reply, Ronan Karuna (28) and Pirratheesh Vigneswarathasan (42) ensured that Old Parkonians reached 108 to win by seven wickets. Southendian’s Aron Baines finished with three for 23.
South Woodford Fifths saw off the challenge of Ilford Fifths by a comfortable 111-run margin.
South Woodford were put in but contributions from Irfan Sadiq (40) and Zahid Hafeez (38) resulted in a final total of 239 for seven.
Mahmood Iqbal then took centre stage, claiming seven for 28 as his side ran out comfortable winners, bowling Ilford out for 128 all out.
Aaditya Tiwari (61) and Mohammad Zulqarnain (30) were their main scorers.
