Six East London Runners in duathlon or triathlon action

Six East London Runners were in duathlon or triathlon action last weekend at a variety of locations.
Ninette Fernandes completed the London Triathlon at Hyde Park, which included a 1500m swim, a 40km cycle and a 10km run, in 2.53.09.
At the Richmond Duathlon, Mark Boulton finished the 10km run, 44km cycle and 5km run in 2.27.20.
It was a family affair at Eton Dorney where Jayne Browne completed the duathlon event of a 5km run, 21.2km cycle and 2.5km run in 1.34.32.
Browne’s husband Paul and two sons Samuel and Joseph also tackled the event which included a 750m swim, 21.2km cycle and a 5km run. Paul managed 1.30.00, Joseph finished in 1.21.12, while Samuel was fastest home in 1.14.25.
Russell Price completed the Purbeck Trail Marathon in 4.24.00, while Manjit Bedi finished the Bristol Half Marathon in 1.20.17.
At the Walthamstow 5km parkrun, Patrick Brown finished first in 20.21 and was closely followed by Richard Guest (21.32) in fourth, Jamie Xavier (22.36) in seventh and George Georgiou (22.47) in eighth.
Samuel Browne was the first Runner home at the Wanstead Flats 5km parkrun, coming fourth in 18.22.
Mark Wyatt (19.33) finished seventh, Lee Wollaston (20.57) came 13th, while Derek Wright (21.13) crossed the line in 15th.
