Ilford Catholic ended their season with two intra-club games on Saturday to commemorate the late Vic Harris, who passed away in 2009.
Each year the first and second teams play for the Vic Harris Trophy and the thirds and fourths play for the Vic Harris Shield.
The first team posted 213 with Sule Saleem the star of the batting line-up with 69, supported well by Abdul Wahab (42).
Gowtam Rajasgaran bowled well to pick up four wickets for the second team. In reply, the seconds lost early wickets with Anujan Thiru removing danger man Annanth Kumar.
Martin Riches (49 not out) offered resistance but the score fell well short of the target.
On pitch two, the fourths recorded a surprising victory in the last over with Paul Alexander hitting a match-winning 54 with support from Chris Leighton (29) as they chased down 191.
Young Aryan Manchanda picked up two wickets for the fourth team and Sunil Pulapaka top-scored with 70 for the thirds.
More than 50 club members attended the matches, capping off a successful league season which saw the second team win Division Five and the first team finish third in Division One of the Herts and Essex Cricket League.
