The London Borough of Waltham Forest Swimming Club represented by four swimmers in the British Gas National Championships

The London Borough of Waltham Forest Swimming Club were represented by four swimmers in the British Gas National Championships in Sheffield, and managed to come away from the meet with a medal.
First time national swimmer, Phoebe Griffiths, 12, achieved a remarkable bronze medal in the 800M freestyle and put in a great performance in the 200M and 400M freestyle.
Phoebe said “It was an incredible experience and just makes me want to go back and do it again this season”.
The club’s other swimmers were Jeremy Nockels, 14, who swam in the 100M and 200M breaststroke and achieved personal bests in both races; Amrita Robertson, 15, who took part in the 100M and 200M butterfly and Holly Taylor, 13, who swam in the 100M freestyle and 100M backstroke.
London Borough of Waltham Forest swimming club are really proud of these individuals. “It is what a competitive swimming club aims to achieve” said head coach, Mike Bush.
