Waltham Forest salvaged a late point against fellow strugglers Brentwood Town on Saturday with a gutsy 3-3 draw.
In a clash of the bottom two, Forest could have leapfrogged their opponents with a win but in the end were delighted with a point after coming from behind three times.
Town opened the scoring within a minute but Richard Worrell levelled soon after for Forest.
The visitors were ahead again before the quarter-hour mark but Scott scored his first goal of the game to peg Town back two minutes later.
With the game in the balance at 2-2, Town took the lead for a third time before Scott scored his second in the last minute and ensured Forest took a share of the spoils.
The Stags face a tough trip to Dereham Town on Saturday.
