West Ham United have been linked with a loan move for out of favour Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

The Irons are short of striker options due to Andy Carroll's injury and Sam Allardyce has reportedly made Adebayor a priority target.

The 31-year-old has played just one half of football for Spurs this season, he came off the bench in Tottenham's 6-0 thrashing at Manchester City.

One stumbling block could be the Togo international's wages however, with City still believed to be paying a large part of his earnings.
