Alys Hackett was unlucky not to open the score sheet early on when a inch perfect short corner strike was disallowed for an illegal shot corner stop.

The short corners were aplenty but Crostyx were unable to convert. Donna Blockley was unlucky when the ball ricochet off the pitch, off of her stick and into her head.

The first and only goal of the first half came after some inspiring link up play between Hadley Chick at right back, up through Ciara Newell in right mid who weaved around playeds with ease before slipping the ball to Berill to score.

Crostyx were on top for the rest of the half but failed to increase their lead.

The second half proved a little different and Crostyx managed to further their lead and add another 5 to their tally.

The second goal came from a superb solo effort from Ciara Newell. A 40 yard dribble followed with a sharp shot from the top of the D.
Ciaras second and Crostyx's 3rd came down a similar vein this time Newell shooting from a tighter angle but still managing to wrong foot the flailing IES keeper.

Blockley having returned to the pitch and keen to get on the score sheet scored a terrific goal aided by a level pass from Hackett.

Crostyx's 5th came from a neat attack from Captain Vicks Berill as she took a shot which rebounded straight back to her to allow a slipped ball to Sarah Belsham in the post to clinically finish.

The 6th and final goal came from a well battled turnover from Keeley Pratt delivering the ball to Kat Hawes who crossed to Hackett who after a brief 3-way with Berill and Belsham gave Berill room to slot home
