East London Runners' James Wilson and John Booth both won their respective parkruns on Saturday.

Wilson came home first in the Wanstead Flasts 5km event with a time of 19.40 while Russell Price, Derek Wright and Emmett Fitzgibbon all made the top ten.

Andy Jenkins was 13th with 22.28 while Sarah McCrea was the fastest lady in the race with 22.58 which was enough for 17th overall.

Also in pole position was Booth at the Hackney Marshes run. Booth crossed the line first with 17.59.

At the Walthamstow parkrun, David Baldwin was Runners' first man in. He came third in 20.57, just ahead of fourth-placed Patrick Brown (22.02).

Richard Guest finished eighth with 23.23 while George Geogiou (24.04), Phoebe Bowman (25.59) an Steve Bywater (26.13) came inside the top 30.

At the South of England Cross Country Championships, Patrick Brown was Runners' fastest runner, coming 118th in a time of 58.49.

Mark Boulton (64.18), Paul Quinton (69.30) also finished the nine-mile event while Celia Payaneeandee polished off five miles in 43.27.
