Crostyx ladies lead Division 2C by four points after thrashing Hertford 7-2 with Carrie Curtis claiming a hat-trick.
Ciara Newell finished off a maxy run to open the scoring early on before Alys Hackett converted a short corner after Vicky Berill’s shot had forced a Hertford defender to kick the ball.
Curtis scored her first of the afternoon, slotting home Anna Feldman’s short corner and while Hertford reduced the gap to 3-1 before half-time, Crostyx dominated after the break.
Sarah Belsham’s shot was deflected home by Curtis and Belsham then got on the scoresheet herself, also tapping in from close range to make it 5-1.
Donna Blockley was on hand to score Crostyx’s sixth of the game after a good pass by Annabel Smith.
Hertford reduced the deficit again but it was Crostyx who had the final word when Curtis rounded off her treble with a reverse stick strike from the top of the D.
