West Ham United have missed out on Olympiakos striker Kostas Mitroglou after he agreed a £12m move to Fulham.

The Hammers were keen to bring the 25-year-old to Upton Park but the forward has been persuaded to join the Cottagers.

Sam Allardyce's side have struggled for goals this season although have been boosted by the return to fitness of striker Andy Carroll.
