Peterborough have apologised to Leyton Orient after 60 seats were damaged by away supporters in the East Stand in the O's 2-1 defeat on Saturday.
Orient released a statement which read: "Peterborough United has apologised and requested any details we can provide them regarding the identities of the supporters involved and we will be passing them evidence from social media and CCTV.
"They have agreed to cover the costs we have incurred in replacing and repairing the damaged seats and we thank them for that.
"Like the majority of their supporters, they have acted in an entirely proper manner and as far as we are concerned this incident will not affect the relationship between the two clubs."
