Leyton Orient have received a major boost after striker Kevin Lisbie agreed a new one-year deal with the League 1 promotion chasers.

The former Charlton Athletic striker has netted 14 goals for Orient this season and is on course to beat his best return of 16 from the last campaign.

The 35-year-old's contract expired this summer but Russell Slade has secured the future of the forward at Brisbane Road until the end of next season.

Lisbie's goal will now be to help fire Orient to promotion this season which would give him another crack at the Championship next year.
