Former Liverpool forward Dirk Kuyt is linked to a move back to the Premier League with West Ham United showing an interest in the Dutch striker.

Kuyt, who is currently at Fenerbahce in Turkey, has scored 17 league goals over the past 18 months, as West Ham boss Sam Allardyce looks to assist Andy Carroll up front.

The 33-year-old’s contract runs out in 2015, but Turkish news outlet Fotospor belives that due to his age, Kuyt could leave the club before then, at a price lower than the €1m Fenerbahce paid for him in 2012.

Allardyce will look to strengthen up front for next season, with doubts over Andy Carroll’s fitness and Modibo Maiga’s long term future at the club.
