Leyton Orient v Gillingham preview

East London and West Essex Guardian Series: Russell Slade's side have not won for five games: Simon O'Connor Russell Slade's side have not won for five games: Simon O'Connor

Leyton Orient will attempt to end their five-match winless run when they entertain Gillingham in League 1 this weekend.

The O's recent form has scuppered their hopes of automatic promotion and Russell Slade's side will be trying to build momentum ahead of the play-offs next month.

Orient battled to a 1-1 draw at Sheffield United last weekend but the East Londoners have failed to win their last three matches at Brisbane Road.

Romain Vincelot missed last weekend's match with a foot injury but could come into consideration for tomorrow's home game.

Slade's side will have fond memories from their most recent meeting with the Gills when Yohann Lasimant netted a 90th minute winner on Boxing Day.

All that Slade should concentrate on is taking his hat on when the song is sung and to make them pass the ball instead of kicking it high in the sky and hoping for the best.
