The Men United Cup will take place at the Matchroom Stadium this summer.

Leyton Orient's ground will host the South East region tournament on Saturday, May 24 in a competition which helps raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.

As part of the national Men United campaign, which has seen celebrity endorsements from comedian Bill Bailey, the tournament will enable teams to play on a professional football club’s pitch while raising funds for the charity.

There are some prizes on offer too as not only will the winning side pick up the Men United Cup, but they will also have the opportunity to be presented at a game in front of the crowd at their chosen Football League club as well as other rewards.

The event starts at 12pm on May 24 and there are up to ten registered players per six-a-side team with rolling subs. The competition is open to players aged 16 and over and each team is guaranteed a minimum of seven matches.

There is a minimum donation of £200 to enter a team. Teams can play in their own kit or order a Nike shirt from £20 each. There is also the option to book a changing room for an extra £50 per team.

All proceeds from the tournament will go to Prostate Cancer UK. Bookings need to be made in advance and further enquiries should be made to Rob Noble at Leyton Orient Football Club via r.noble@leytonorient.net.
