West Ham United winger Joe Cole had an answer for some Arsenal boo-boys before their 3-1 defeat at the Emirates.

The former Chelsea man was subject to a chorus of boos whilst warming up on Tuesday night, presumably for his successful Chelsea links. It has also been mooted Cole spurned Arsenal in favour of Liverpool upon leaving Stamford Bridge.

Whilst warming-up, Cole simulated raising a trophy above his head to anger Arsenal fans who are currently enduring a near nine-year wait for silverware.

Comparatively over the same period, Cole has won two Premier League medals and raised the FA Cup three times.

It was the Gunners who would have the last laugh though, comfortably overcoming the Hammers thanks to a brace from Lukas Podolski and an Olivier Giroud goal.

A former Hammer of the year in 2003, Cole returned to the Hammers where he started his career in January last year.
