Leyton Orient manager Russell Slade insists his side do not have an advantage despite being level going into tonight's home play-off second leg against Peterborough United.

The O's are odds on favourites to reach the League 1 final at Wembley after earning a 1-1 draw at Peterborough on Saturday.

But the Orient boss is adamant that playing in front of their own fans will not give them an edge and insists the tie is hanging in the balance.

Slade, who has been beaten in play-off finals as manager of Grimsby Town and Yeovil Town, said: "I don't think being at home in the second leg has any advantage. There's no written script in the play-offs.

"It's no good wishing we're going to get to Wembley. Wishing never won anything. It's about that hard work and that work ethic which wins you things."

The O's boss added: "It's evenly poised and it promises to be another tough fight in the second leg."

Peterborough won 2-1 at Brisbane Road back in February and the visitors have won the play-offs on all three times they have competed in them.

But Orient have also reached the final on the three occasions they have taken part. Their only success came in 1989 when they won promotion from the fourth tier.

The O's could to be at full strength but have slight doubts over Romain Vincelot and Kevin Lisbie after they picked up knocks on Saturday.
