West Ham are interested in signing Norwich City's Swedish international full-back Martin Olsson, according to the Daily Mail.

The 26-year-old full-back is one of a number of players who are expected to leave Carrow Road following the Canaries' relegation to the Championship.

Signed from Blackburn Rovers last summer, the 5ft11in defender started 33 of Norwich's Premier League fixtures as the Norfolk side slumped back into the Football League.

Olsson began his career in his homeland with Högaborgs BK before joining Blackburn in 2006.

The 23-cap Swede played under Hammers boss Sam Allardyce at Ewood Park.
