Leyton Orient face Rotherham United in the League 1 play-off final at Wembley tomorrow with a place in the second tier of English football for the first time in 32 years on the line.

The O's will have more than 23,000 fans backing them at Wembley as they take on the Millers in the battle for promotion to the Championship.

Russell Slade, who has been linked with the vacant West Brom job, is expected to have a fully fit squad to select from. The Orient manager's biggest decision looks to be whether to stick with Lloyd James in midfield or bring Everton loanee John Lundstram back into the side.

Rotherham boss Steve Evans is also likely to have a fully fit team at Wembley and the Millers go into the final as the favourites.

Orient booked their place at Wembley after a 3-2 aggregate win over Peterborough United which sparked extraordinary scenes at Brisbane Road as the fans celebrated on the pitch.

Rotherham, who finished one place below the O's in fourth, overcame Preston 4-2 on aggregate in the semi-finals.

Orient won the first meeting this season with a 1-0 home victory after a goal from Kevin Lisbie. But former O's striker Alex Revell scored an injury time winner in Rotherham's 2-1 victory back in February.

This is the first time the East Londoners have played at Wembley since 1999 when they were beaten 1-0 by Scunthorpe in the Division Three play-off final.

Slade will be hoping it is third time lucky for him after suffering play-off final defeats as manager of Grimsby Town and Yeovil Town.
