West Ham United have joined the race to sign former England international Gareth Barry, according to the Daily Mail.
Barry, 33, has received two offers from Arsenal and Everton but West Ham are trying to sign him with an improved offer, with a deal rumoured to be around £65,000 and regular football.
The former Aston Villa and Manchester City man enjoyed an excellent season on loan at Everton this season but Toffees boss Roberto Martinez is already monitoring other targets in anticipation of missing out.
Parent club City have already announced their intention to free Barry ahead of his contract's expiry on June 30.
