Premier Division

Kelvedon Hatch took a significant step towards clinching the runners-up spot in the Premier Division after a 3-2 win over Bishops Stortford Swifts.

James Birt, Lee Cody and Chris Neville got the goals for Kelvedon, who need two wins from their remaining two fixtures to overhaul Frenford Senior, who currently occupy second.

Swifts got their consolation strikes through Anthony James and Rob Kint and finish the season fifth in the Premier Division.

Rayleigh Town signed off for the season by beating Buckhurst Hill by the odd goal in five.

Ben Harris, John Wheatstone and Luke Wilson scored for hosts Rayleigh; Jordan Childs and Jon Kemp hitting back for Buckhurst, who have one fixture remaining.

Newbury Forest brought the curtain down on their campaign with a 3-0 defeat at Wadham Lodge.

Forest were unable to bounce back from the disappointment of their Essex Premier Cup defeat and closed their season with a sixth match without victory.

Alfie Hatch, Eric Palmer and Femme Orenuga got the goals for Lodge, who end the term in ninth.

Division Three

Catholic United ended their season with a 3-1 home victory over bottom-placed Leytonstone United.

Mike Gerrard helped himself to brace with Mark Baptist getting the other for Catholic.

Olly Adewole scored the consolation goal for Leytonstone, who finish bottom of the pile with just two points.
