West Ham United have entered the race to sign Sunderland midfielder Jack Colback, according to the Chronicle.

Colback, 24, has also prompted interest from the likes of Newcastle United and Aston Villa while current club Sunderland have not given up keeping him in their ranks.

The Killingworth-born player is reported to have held talks with all four clubs and is assessing his options before making a final decision for next season.
