West Ham United are interested in signing free agent Bafetimbi Gomis after his contract with French side Lyon came to an end, according to the Daily Mail.
Gomis, 28, who scored 62 goals in 170 appearances with the French side, has also been linked with Swansea City, Newcastle United, Sunderland and Turkish giants Galatasaray.
His representative Willie McKay said: "Bafetimbi is one of the best free agents in Europe at the moment. He's quick, strong and most importantly scores goals."
The 6ft forward scored 14 times in 29 league starts for Lyon last term and has hit double figures for each of the last eight seasons in Ligue 1.
