Australian outfit Orica GreenEDGE are now the only team to confirm their nine-rider Tour de France squad after Astana Pro Team became the 21st squad to release the names of those who will be on the start line in Leeds on Saturday.
Astana will be led one of the top contenders for the yellow jersey, Vincenzo Nibali, and as long as he gets through the first two days of the Tour safely over the weekend, the Italian will be riding through west Essex and East London on Monday when Stage Three from Cambridge to the capital takes place.
Astana’s full line-up is: Jakob Fuglsang (Denmark); Andriy Grivko (Ukraine); Dmitry Griuzdev (Kazakhstan); Tanel Kangert (Estonia); Maxim Iglinsky (Kazakhstan); Vincenzo Nibali (Italy); Michele Scarponi (Italy); Alessandro Vanotti (Italy); Lieuwe Westra (Netherlands).
