West Ham United have failed to secure the loan signing of Milan midfielder Antonio Nocerino after he elected to join Torino instead.

Nocerino, 29, spent the second-half of last season on loan at Upton Park, making ten appearances during an injury-affected loan stay with the Hammers.

The Milan midfielder, who is a full Italian international, had been wanted back at the Boleyn Ground this season but instead opted to join Serie A side Torino for the 2014/15 campaign.
