The agent of Stuttgart centre-back Antonio Rudiger has confirmed West Ham's interest in the young defender.
Rudiger, 21, has been on Sam Allardyce's radar since earlier in the summer, with the Hammers set to launch an offer for the defender.
And Uli Ferber, Rudiger's agent, confirmed the Irons' interest: “We know about the interest of these two clubs [Porto and West Ham]. But we leave things to VfB [Stuttgart], to who Toni is under contract.”
A full German international, Rudiger made his international debut against Poland in May of this year and has previously represented Die Mannschaft at Under-18, Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level.
Berlin-born Rudiger made 35 league and cup appearances for Stuttgart last term.
