Seven West Ham United players, including Enner Valencia, Winston Reid and Joey O’Brien have received international call ups for their respective countries this week.

Summer signing Valencia is in the Ecuador squad for friendlies against Bolivia on Saturday, September 6 and Brazil on Tuesday, September 9.

Defender Reid will be heading to Qatar, where his New Zealand will face Uzbekistan on Monday, September 8.

The Republic of Ireland have named O’Brien in their squad ahead of their home friendly against Oman on Wednesday, September 3, before facing Georgia in their opening 2016 European Championships Group D qualifier on Sunday, September 7.

Cheikhou Kouyate has been called upon by Senegal to face Egypt and Botswana in their respective 2015 Africa Cup of Nations Group G qualifiers.

Midfielder Kieran Sadlier has been called up to the Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad, whilst Josh Cullen has made the Under-19 squad for the first time and will face the Netherlands in a friendly.

Finally, Northern Ireland- U19s have called upon defender Jamie Harney as they prepare to take on Iceland in a friendly double header.
