Chingford's Ronnie O’Sullivan exited the Shanghai Masters in the first round after he suffered a 5-3 defeat against Alan McManus.
‘The Rocket’ was playing in his first ranking match of the season and made a break of 139 in the third frame to level the contest at 3-3.
However, McManus, who last beat O’Sullivan 11 years ago, won the next two frames to secure victory and book a match in the next round against Stephen Maguire or Jimmy Robertson
