West Ham United forward Andy Carroll has returned to training, co-owner David Gold has confirmed via Twitter.
The Hammers owner took to Twitter to reveal the Gateshead-born forward was training following a several-month long lay-off with an ankle problem.

The 25-year-old suffered ankle ligament damage during the club's pre-season tour of New Zealand and underwent surgery in July as a result.
Carroll has scored nine times in 39 appearances for the Hammers since joining the club from Liverpool - initially on loan - in 2012.
