Talented Chingford youngster Kye Slater-Fox won double gold at the the English Korea Karate Association (EKKA) Karate Challenge in Ipswich.
The 15-year-old, who has been practicing karate since 2006, won his own category in 13 to 15-year-old Kata and also tasted success in the adult Dan grade - claiming gold medals in both.
Slater-Fox, who has held his white, red, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple tag, purple, brown 1 tag, brown 2 tag and brown 3 tag belts, earned his black belt first Dan at the age of 13.
A member at Chadwell Heath Karate Academy, Slater-Fox took up karate in 2004.
The teenager is currently working towards being chosen for the England ‘A’ squad and trains with the team around the country.
