Leyton Orient manager Mauro Milanese admits tomorrow's trip to fellow strugglers Gillingham is a massive game for the club.

The O's are only two points off the bottom of League One and Gillingham start this weekend's game two places below them.

Orient take some winning momentum into the clash after ending their barren run at home following a 2-0 victory over Northampton Town in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy on Tuesday.

Milanese, who will have midfield loan signing Jack Price available again after returning following treatment at parent club Wolverhampton Wanderers, said: "We have a massive game but I asked the players to be professional and recover properly and think how important the next two games are.

"We think match by match and my head is already on Gillingham and I’ve forgotten about the Northampton win, so we’re focused on Saturday.”

Italian defender Andrea Dossena could make his debut for the club after joining until the end of the season. But the O's will be without striker Darius Henderson for at least a fortnight due to a foot injury.

Jay Simpson went off injured after scoring in Tuesday's win over the Cobblers but Milanese expects him to be available.

Milanese said: "I think he hurt it during the goal when they kicked his leg and now it's hurting him but I think he should be available for Saturday."
