West Ham’s Carl Jenkinson earned his second cap in the space five days last night as England Under-21’s 11-game winning streak came to an end in France following a 3-2 defeat.
The on-loan Arsenal defender came off the bench late in the first half to replace the injured Ben Gibson, as the hosts fought back from a quick-fire double by Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane to claim the friendly win.
Jenkinson had scored in England’s 3-1 friendly win over Portugal on Thursday night.
