Old Loughtonians have moved up to seventh in the NOW: Pensions Conference East after beating Chichester Priory Park 6-1 to record consecutive wins.
Hosts Loughts made the ideal start when Conor Caplan fired home a rebound from a penalty corner after just six minutes.
In an end-to-end encounter it was Loughts who seized the initiative and scored a second via Tom Wilson. James Jewell then netted either side of half-time to put Loughts into a commanding 4-0 lead.
Chichester did get one back before Jewell completed his hat-trick by converting a penalty following a block on the line by a Chichester foot.
Jewell then completed a resounding victory by bagging his fourth to send Loughts into seventh.
Next up is a trip to Brighton and Hove on Sunday.
Old Loughtonians ladies were beaten 3-1 at Cambridge City. Fifth-placed Loughts are away to Ipswich Seconds on Saturday.
