West Ham United defender Jamie Harney has completed a permanent move to Colchester United.
The 18-year-old Northern Ireland centre-back has been on loan with the League One club but has now agreed to join the Essex side on a permanent basis.
Hammers midfielder Danny Whitehead has had his contract at Upton Park cancelled with immediate effect.
