Premier Division

Wadham Lodge ended their four-game winless run in emphatic fashion, turning over basement-dwellers Southminster St Leonards 7-0.

The win moves Wadham Lodge up to second place, four points shy of leaders Bishop’s Stortford Swifts but with a game in hand.

Charlie Georgiou put Lodge ahead before half time and after the break, the floodgates opened as Wadham ran in six further goals.

Harry Honesty and Perry Burns both helped themselves to braces, with Bradley Falcao and Max Holt also on target.

Division One

Ongar Town scored four but still ended up on the losing side, 6-4 at home to Leigh Ramblers.

Ben Polley scored a hat-trick for Ongar, whilst Niki Love was also on target as Ongar came up short.

Division Two

Bottom two Roydon and Ryan served up an 11-goal treat, with Roydon emerging 6-5 victors.

Wes Penny (2), Mo Benzid, Sami Mbarki, Matt Sheen and Taco Mbengue were the Roydon marksmen and the win moves them out of the relegation zone, with Debden Sports taking their place.

Ryan scored all their goals in a 20-minute second-half spell but were unable to secure a point and are now six points adrift of their conquerors.

Bradley Harris (2), Sam Pratt, Harry Gostling, and Benjamin Bordom were the Ryan scorers.

Division Three

Epping will want to put Saturday behind them as quickly as possible after losing 12-1 to Catholic United.

Defeat leaves Epping third – nine points behind leaders FC Hamlets POAPC.
