West Ham United defender Doneil Henry has joined Championship side Blackburn Rovers on a month's loan and made his debut in Wednesday's win at Sheffield Wednesday.
The Canadian centre-back joined the Hammers from Cypriot side Apollon Limassol in January but has not featured for Sam Allardyce's side yet.
Henry, 21, joined Rovers on loan for a month late on Wednesday afternoon and was immediately pitched into the side by boss Gary Bowyer as Blackburn won 2-1 at Hillsborough.
And Bowyer said of the Canadian international: "He's a fantastic character. I spoke to him on the phone (on Wednesday) morning.
"He did outstandingly well against (Atdhe) Nuhiu. It was an unbelievable debut in the Championship."
