Premier Division

Chingford Athletic took full advantage of the fact league-leaders May & Baker EC 'A' were not in action, beating Eastside Rangers (London Community) 4-0.

The win saw Chingford close the gap on the top-of-the-table side to 12 points and they have five games in hand still with which to overhaul May & Baker.

Luke Arnold, Lee Bowers, Michael Mignot and Lee Doyle all found the back of the net for Chingford.

St Francis picked up a big three points in their relegation battle by impressively winning 4-2 away at Chingford Harriers.

A hat-trick from Marcel Byfield did the bulk of the damage, with Paul Embley also registering. Adam Fernandi and Steve Harrison notched for Harriers.

Cranes United were 3-0 winners at home to Melbourne Sports, seeing them move up to seventh.

Senkatuka Nelson and Meddie Nsubuga were both on target for the home side.

Division One

Despite scoring via their goalkeeper, bottom-of-the-league Chingford Town Reserves' woes were compounded by a 5-3 loss to Glendale.

John Taylor ran in a hat-trick for hosts Glendale, whilst Jonathan Mays and Andrejs Nosikovs also hit the back of the net.

Goalkeeper Danny Morgan, Jack Turnpenny and Jack Lustig were the Chingford Town marksmen.

Northend were 2-1 winners at home to Forest Green, a result which sees them keep within touching distance of the title race.

Despite trailing leaders Blue Marlin by 15 points, Northend do have three games in hand on the pace setters.

Michael Urling-Brown and Kristian Katzarov were the Northend marksmen.

Division Two

Leaders West Essex Reserves added another three points to their total on Saturday as they won 4-0 at Dagenham United.

An imperious win was sealed thanks to goals from Lloyd Renvoize, Adam Norris, Joseph Thwaite and Otis Gateshouse all notching for the visitors.

Third-placed Leyton Green edged out Newham Royals 2-1 but they remain two points behind West Essex Reserves still.

Goals from Wyndell Foster and Thomas Simon made sure of the win, with Richard Smith pulling one back for Newham.

Singh Sabha Barking were 3-0 winners at Northend Reserves, strengthening their grip on sixth place in the process.

A comfortable victory was ensured thanks to goals from Amun Shergill, Barni Lakhan and Jordan Aaron Hamilton.

Custom House picked up a 2-1 win over Cowley Community but a title tilt looks beyond them.

Bradley Routledge and Jack Field cancelled out Izynna Ogedi-Uzokwe's effort for the visitors.

Premier Division Cup Quarter-Final

Chingford Town are now 90 minutes from a cup final after breezing past AAH Romford 3-0.

Joseph Johnson, Darryl Shirt and Chetin Ali did the damage for Chingford.

In the day's other quarter-final, Rainham Working Men's Club won 4-2 at Jolof Sports.

Strikes from Jeffrey Cobbiah and Stoica Loan were scant consolation for beaten Jolof.
