Bradley Pritchard believes Leyton Orient's experienced players can prove the difference in their crucial relegation battle at Crawley Town on Saturday.

The players’ focus has already turned to this weekend’s pivotal game at the bottom and midfielder Pritchard insists the fact Orient have lost every match at Crawley is not a concern.

Pritchard said: “It’s a huge game but the boys are already talking about it in the changing room now which is good because it means we’re focused on that game. We’re not thinking past that and it’s all just about Crawley on Saturday.

“Right now that’s irrelevant [previous record]. We just have to look at that game regardless of the past fixtures and we know what we have to get out of it and how we need to play. It is a huge game but it’s a match that the boys will definitely thrive upon with the pressure.”

Pritchard believes the club’s experienced players, such as Andrea Dossena and Jobi McAnuff, can handle the occasion and help the team manage the expectations on their shoulders.

He said: “We’ve had pressure on us all season and we’ve got experienced guys here and that will really count and be very important.

"Guys have played at a higher level with a lot more pressure riding on games so we’ve just got to use all of the experience and the quality that the squad does actually have.”
