Fabio Liverani believes relegation-threatened Leyton Orient’s fate will not be decided until the final day of the season.

The O’s have been inside the bottom four of League One since the end of January and are still battling to avoid the drop with just one month of the campaign remaining.

Orient have seven matches left this season but the Italian manager believes their status will only be determined after the last match at Swindon Town on Sunday, May 3.

Liverani, whose side travel to Coventry City tonight, said: “I think everything will be decided on May 3 on the last day of the season. Whoever is going to be more determined and hungry to win games are going to be the teams that avoid relegation."
