Redbridge again failed to distance themselves from the Ryman North relegation zone after the Motormen suffered a 3-0 home defeat to Wroxham on Saturday.

It was the fourth successive defeat for Redbridge, who have failed to score in any of those matches.

The home side fell behind in Saturday’s contest in the 39th minute when Remy Gordon was given time to bring down the ball and fire his shot into the net.

Wroxham then doubled their advantage seconds after half time. Jamie Forshaw manoeuvred room to shoot but his initial effort was blocked.

However, the ball rebounded into his path and he was left with a simple finish to extend the visitors’ lead.

Ten minutes later and it was 3-0 as Forshaw collected a pass and confidently slotted home.

Redbridge were not able to create a single chance of note in reply and didn’t have a shot on target throughout the defeat, which leaves them four points above the drop zone.

The Motormen take on Brightlingsea Regent on Saturday before travelling to strugglers and local rivals Barkingside on Easter Monday.
