Russell Price was the highest-placed East London Runner in Sunday’s Manchester Marathon.
Price crossed the line in 188th place with a personal best time of 2.52.54 which was enough to see him among the first 200 finishers.
Dan Slipper (3.00.27), Allan Todd (3.14.43) and Tanbir Jasimuddin (4.30.24) also completed the course.
On the other side of the pond, Tom Woods completed the Boston Marathon in 4.05.44 on Monday.
East London Runners expect to have as many as 30 members competing in Sunday’s London Marathon.
