Previous leaders Wadham Lodge were knocked off the summit after the could only draw 2-2 with Frenford Senior on Saturday.
However, as current table-toppers Hannakins Farm have now finished their season and hold just a one-point lodge, promotion to the Essex Senior League is in Lodge's hands as they have a game to play still.
Lodge maintained their unbeaten home record but an 84th minute equaliser cost them dear after Janel Alexander and Harry Honesty had cancelled out the Frenford's opener.
Newbury Forest were beaten 2-1 at home by Hannakins Farm; a goal from Jason Reynolds-Blanche putting the the hosts ahead only for Forest to blow the lead.
Buckhurst Hill are safe despite losing 4-0 at Harold Wood Athletic, that after second-bottom side Manford Way lost 3-0 at Rayleigh Town.
Division One
Ongar Town were able to avoid the drop on Saturday after they beat Division One champions Harold Hill 2-1.
Niki Love and Ben Absolon were the heroes for Ongar as their efforts ensured Division One survival for Town.
Division Two
Ryan FC staved off the threat of relegation on goal difference after losing 1-0 at Runwell Hospital.
Roydon were the unlucky side, occupying the final relegation spot on accoutn of their minus 42 goal difference, which was two goals worse than Ryan's.
